That's exactly what I did just now -- juiced three pomegranates. It did make a mess but I agree it's easier than eating them, which Cat disagrees with. She likes to eat them. Suits me just fine. :D
About the mint --promise? I planted them in six places, four survived the summer heat and I would gladly see them try and take over. We consume a lot of mint tea during cold season, so bring it on, mint!
P.S. Quinces are beautiful and they smell so wonderfully wintery! Also, tough to do anything with except slice and put in the pork stew but hard work's never stopped us. :D
Slice the quinces, add some water with sugar in it (not too much sugar) and a little bit of ginger (preferably slices of fresh ginger) Bake till quinces are soft. Serve with cream or ice cream or just serve as dessert.
This makes me miss California!
Pomegranates. Quinces.
You can make juice from the pomegranates, fairly easily. Easier than eating them.
Quinces are so beautiful....
Mints should come with a warning label: "I WILL attempt to take over your garden. Be warned!"
Enjoy the winter!

Sigh.
I love simple and delicious recipes, thank you! Will send pictures.
I lost three fruit trees to the Texas heat this year. Two remain. I must fertilize them well for spring.
Sorry to hear that. Heat sucks. I hear sprinkling the trees with a white clay solution helps protect their leaves but haven't tried it yet.
I will look that up. Seems to make sense.
