A year of country life

We left Sofia with two full car trunks on June 16, 2022. A year later we’re healthier, happier, and busier. And we love it.

We have all the sky we will ever need (planes are a dubious bonus because of the noise).

We had a great crop of apricots (The hairbrush is for Vlad. Product placement unintentional, we just couldn’t be bothered to hide it.)

and rosemary

We binged on nature

in its many wonderful forms

We built a road (well, Cris did)

enjoyed a golden autumn

And a snowy winter (just for a bit but it snowed)

followed by the rebirth that is spring

and the promise for another wonderful year

Except for mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are not wonderful. They’re the price we have to pay for the rest. We’ve got sprays.
