Since the only thing to do in the garden right now is weeding, which is not terribly exciting, we decided to show you some of the plants and the trees.
I apologise deeply for the vertigo-inducing frames while I move from place to place, so try to close your eyes for these. Cat is sleeping and Cris is in town shopping, so it was the worst cameraperson who could do it before the rains started. Again. I’ll try to do better next time or have one of the Cs do it. They’re good.
P.S. The birds we’re making a palace for are called barbary doves. Their cackle is hilarious. Hopefully, we’ll be able to do a special on them later this year.
P.P.S. The “Japanese walnut” is actually called the tree of heaven because botanists apparently have a sense of humour.
